About This Game Welcome to Pandemic Express - Zombie Escape! We've played a lot of Zombie Escape-style mods, and wanted to make something standalone, and on a large scale. Up to 30 players spawn in a large world. One of them gets randomly infected, and has to spread the infection turning everyone into zombies. The human players desperately try to escape on a train through an onslaught of what seems like endless zombie hordes. Upcoming Friend System Playtest: Hi all and thanks for the wonderful reception in the first day of Pandemic Express! While there are issues, I'm happy we were able to fix a critical lobby bug and for most of the rest there's a clear plan on fixes. The only issue we don't fully know how to solve yet is Chinese players reporting crashes on startup when the system is in simplified Chinese -- figuring that one out. Tomorrow we will be playtesting an important server and client update (featuring the first iteration of the friend invite system). This will require a few people to play together, and groups of Steam friends to stress test the system. Mimics Hotfix 10/05/2019 Is Live!: Hey everyone!Yesterday's zombie changes were quite an overkill. Our goal is to find a good balance — a state of the game where playing as a human and as a zombie is both fun and challenging. The game is still very young, and we're working on finding that balance while adding new features to the game.
